All India Institute of Medical Sciences(AIIMS) Delhi

Established in the year 1956, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is a medical college and medical research public university located in New Delhi, India. Set up as an institution of national importance by an Act of Parliament, AIIMS conducts teaching programs in medical and Para-medical courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in 42 disciplines and awards its own degrees. AIIMS is also a leader in the field of medical research with over 600 research publications by its faculty and researchers in a year. The institute also runs a College of Nursing and trains students for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing post-certificate degrees.
