A premier educational and research institute, Christian Medical College and Hospital, Vellore (CMC Vellore) is India's most prominent, well known and top ranked medical colleges in India. Christian Medical College(CMC) Ludhiana
Founded by Dame Edith Mary Brown, the Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana is India's first medical school for women in Asia. The institute became officially recognized by the government in 1915.However, the medical missionary work was started in Ludhiana in 1881 by the Greenfield sisters, Martha Rose and Kay who were evangelists and educationalists from Scotland. Initially the college stood affiliated to Punjab University, Chandigarh but since July 1999 the college has been affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) Puducherry
Ranked amongst the top five medial institutes in India, the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER) is located in Pondicherry. This Indian central government funded institute is both an educational institute that imparts undergraduate and postgraduate medical training and a working hospital that provides inexpensive medical care to a large number of patients. Spread over a sprawling area of 195 acres, the institute has about 200 faculty members, 360 resident physicians and over 3,000 nursing, administrative and support staff. Every year the institute admits 100 undergraduate students and 75 postgraduate students.

Armed Forces Medical College(AFMC) Pune
AFMC, established in 1948 is one of the premier institutes offering quality education in medical and nursing field and set up by amalgamation of Army Medical Training Centre, the Army School of Hygiene, Central Military Pathology Laboratory, the School of Blood Transfusion and Army School of Radiology. Located in Pune Cantonment in Pune in the state of Maharashtra, the institute is managed by the Indian Armed Forces and offers training to undergraduate and postgraduate medical and nursing students with recruitment as medical officers in Indian Army. AFMC is currently affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health and is recognised by MCI for conducting courses.

Maulana Azad Medical college(MAMC) New Delhi
Affiliated to University of Delhi, Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC) is a government medical college with its base in Delhi. Always ranked amongst Top five medical institutes of the country, MAMC s named after Indian freedom fighter and first education minister of independent India Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Madras Medical College(MMC) Chennai
India's second oldest medical college in India, the Madras Medical College (MMC) was set up on February 2, 1835. The institute is one of the foremost centres of post graduate medical education in the country with 425 Seats. The institute offers undergraduate degrees and postgraduate degrees, diplomas and super-specialty courses.
